Lenses

Q: What is a re-glaze?
A: A re-glaze is the renewal of lenses into your existing frame.

Q: Why would I want to put new lenses into my existing frame?
A: We estimate that up to 98% of all used frames can be successfully re-glazed so why buy new frames when you only need new lenses?

Q: Do you supply Varifocal & Bifocal lenses?
A: Yes we do, providing you are currently wearing them in the frames you want re-glazed. This allows us to match all critical measurements using your existing lenses.

Q: Do you supply glass lenses?
A: Please contact us for an individual quote.

Your prescription

Q: How do I obtain my prescription?
A: By law your optician must give you a copy of your prescription following your eye test.

Q: Can I use my contact lens prescription for spectacles?
A: No, you can't use your contact lens prescription as this may differ slightly from your spectacle prescription.

Your order

Q: What do I need to do to order new lenses from Framesavers?
A: All you need is a signed prescription from your optician, dated within 2 years.

Q: Do you accept NHS vouchers?
A: Due to the complexities involved we currently do not accept NHS vouchers, we are working on this to hopefully accept them in the future.

Q: How long will my glasses take?
A: Delivery times can differ depending on the lens choice. We aim to deliver all glasses back to you within 7-10 working days. If you would like an estimated delivery time please don't hesitate to call us on FREEPHONE 0808 168 1833

Q: Do you offer a money back guarantee?
A: Yes we do, if you're not happy with your lenses for any reason, simply return your glasses to us within 28 days, we will put your previous lenses back into your frame and give you a full refund.
